Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using Zahya Verifications and the responsibilities of users and Discord server operators.

Effective and last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Zahya Dev (“Zahya,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of Zahya Verifications, including its Discord application and bot, web dashboard, tenant verification websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By authorizing, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a Discord server, community, business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required to use Discord and online services in your country. If you are not old enough to enter into these Terms independently, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by applicable law or Discord’s rules.

3. What the Service does

Zahya Verifications helps participating Discord communities verify members through Discord OAuth, server-membership checks, optional Discord-account-age checks, phone one-time passwords, and automated assignment or recovery of configured Discord roles. Licensed server operators can configure branded verification websites and review verification status through a dashboard.

The Service verifies the configured technical signals only. It does not verify a person’s legal identity, real-world age, ownership of a phone number beyond successful receipt of an OTP, or suitability for any regulated purpose. Do not use the Service for employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, legal identity verification, or other high-impact decisions.

4. Discord authorization and account security

Access is provided through Discord OAuth or another method we expressly support. You must use your own Discord account, provide accurate information, and keep your account and sessions secure. You must not share dashboard access, session links, tokens, or credentials with unauthorized persons.

We never ask for your Discord password. Discord authorization is handled by Discord, and your use of Discord remains subject to Discord’s own terms, policies, and community guidelines.

5. Responsibilities of server operators

  • You must have permission to configure the relevant Discord server, bot, roles, invitations, branding, and verification website.
  • You must clearly explain to your members why verification is required and use verification data only to operate and protect your community.
  • You must configure appropriate role permissions and must not use the Service to grant dangerous, administrative, or unrelated permissions automatically.
  • You are responsible for your server rules, content, member decisions, regulatory obligations, and any notices or consents required for your community.
  • You must promptly remove access for staff or collaborators who are no longer authorized.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful community verification and administration. You must comply with applicable law and all applicable Discord terms and policies.

  • Do not abuse OTP delivery, rate limits, Discord APIs, or any verification workflow.
  • Do not use bots, scripts, scraping, forged requests, self-bots, or other means to bypass security or access controls.
  • Do not collect credentials, impersonate others, misrepresent verification results, or use the Service for phishing, spam, fraud, harassment, surveillance, or discrimination.
  • Do not probe, attack, disrupt, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or copy the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Do not upload or configure unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content.
  • Do not use Discord API data for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, or purposes unrelated to the Service’s stated verification functionality.

7. Phone and OTP verification

When you request an OTP, you represent that you control or are authorized to use the submitted phone number and consent to receiving a transactional verification message. Standard carrier, messaging, or data charges may apply. OTP delivery can be delayed or unavailable because of carrier, provider, country, rate-limit, or technical restrictions.

You must not trigger messages to another person without permission or use the OTP system for marketing. We may restrict countries, numbers, devices, sessions, or traffic to prevent abuse.

8. Licenses, plans, and payment

Dashboard and hosted-site access may require a paid or complimentary license. Plan scope, site limits, duration, price, and renewal terms are those communicated at purchase or shown in the Service. Unless we expressly agree otherwise, licenses are personal to the licensed Discord account and may not be transferred, shared, or resold.

When a license expires, is suspended, or is terminated, associated dashboards or verification sites may become unavailable. Fees are non-refundable once service for the applicable period has been activated, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing. You remain responsible for taxes or charges applicable to your purchase.

9. Your content and configuration

You retain ownership of logos, images, text, server information, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to provide it.

We may remove or disable content that violates these Terms, Discord’s policies, applicable law, or third-party rights.

10. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with third-party services such as Discord, hosting and security providers, database infrastructure, and messaging or WhatsApp delivery providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and may change, become unavailable, or impose limits. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and how to request access or deletion. By using the Service, you acknowledge those practices.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when a license expires; when reasonably necessary to protect users, Discord, third parties, or the Service; when required by law or Discord; or when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions—will continue to apply.

13. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service secure and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent operation. Features may change to improve security, comply with law or platform requirements, prevent abuse, or reflect third-party changes. We may discontinue all or part of the Service with reasonable notice when practical.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage. We do not guarantee that verification will prevent fraud, alternate accounts, account compromise, chargebacks, raids, or other misconduct.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zahya Dev and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, security practices, or third-party platform requirements. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Contact and reports

For support, legal questions, abuse reports, or suspected violations, visit https://zahya.dev or open a support request in the Zahya Discord community at https://discord.gg/zahya. Please include enough information for us to investigate, but do not post passwords, tokens, OTP codes, or other secrets.
